Last night, I went to Serena Lounge and almost had to punch an erratic dancer in the face. Homeboy was dancing so wildly (by himself) that his blackberry lookin device fell off and he had no clue. Then he steps on my foot after squeezing in to a spot where no one dancing could fit. So I stops watching, “The Last Dragon” (which was playing on the tv)and drops my hands like “yo, what de fuk ?” homeboy apologizes mad quickly. I hate when folks are not drunk and do drunk shit. And I did say erratic at the beginning of this paragraph.
Anyway we bounce from there and see the lightskin brigade outside of Via as we are trying to recruit for Happy Valley later in the night. I get like 3 hugs out of the 5, 6 of them cuz I had bones to pick. They were on their way home and it had started raining. So they had little extra time allotted for me/us.
Walks in Via wit my reebok black kicks on that look like expensive shoes (I was told). Everyone looks like they waiting on a show. I walks around, diddy bop say my hellos. Come to find out there was to be a fashion show. Everything taking mad long and we trying to get into Happy Valley for free so we decide to bounce on this lil funny bootleg fashion show. But before we even move Derek Jeter walks up in the spot. I offer him a whatup and he mumbles sumthin and gives out a head nod. I’m realizing that Im icegrillin him. I quickly realize why. It was because of his performance in the 2000 Subway Series. He cost my mets a championship. I kept lookin over to him to see how much time it would take for me to choke him out for revenge. Its mad funny cuz homie looked like a tall ass dude when he was chillin wit his lil mans and some real regular broads.
Anyway
We get online and I see my 06booboowhodon’tknowityet with her peoples I decide to let her enter the spot before I go up and say hi. (She aint see me, as I laid in the cut) It was a very humid night might I add. So we call up the squad and they all claim to be on their way. On this evening the squad included 4, 5 girlies and 1 dude. And we had my mans N,I on the way good footing it. So we gets up in de spot for the free and I makes my way over and I get greeted like I found someone’s wallet. I got the jump up hug complete with “how u beens?’ Im so super happy I looks like a dude dat just found out that my piss is worth money. I literally believe I was cheesing and I was tryin not to. It was crazy. She introduces me to all 3 of her friends. I introduce her to my 2 dudes. One of my dudes and her gals realize that they know each other. Quite a scene considering our total group was 50% of the inhabitants in the club at that moment.
Feeling quite like a G at that moment. Then our squad of 4 girls and one guy gets there and we looking more like Gz cuz we about 20% of the club. I was soo hyped and rejuvenated. I then sees my dude BS from St Al’s. BS was the dude from Summer camp where we were cool but always had an inner competition of who was the better ball player. BS is a year older than me and his game was a bit better on the overall at that point. My jumper and passing was better back then but everything else, he probably was better. Anyway we all reminisce on the old days of being pre teens in camp.
But we get back to the broads.
DJ is kinda bullshittin but not enuff to have folks complaining but he aint put on the deep rooted, south ‘do a dance move songs’ ie young dro, franchise boys, young joc, young Michael mcdonald)… so we all chat it up and then all of a sudden I heard L and MSG is in the building. Im like oh word this can either be really good or really bad. Turned out it was a good look everyone was actin right. then all of a sudden my06booboowhodon’tknowityet turns and says she is about to be out. And quickly leaves after administering a rushed hug. That shit hurt my heart. It went from feeling like Xmas morning to ya house getting robbed while u on vacation.
I got mad and left after taking a bout 5 pictures and getting yelled at by a lady.
I really think I got on the home in 20 minutes from 27th street. My JahLahP still knows how to get it done I tell you.
This weekend is crucial. I will fill you in on Tuesday probably.
